Pet owners buy for an animal they love, and they look for one like theirs in the photos. A collar on a golden retriever tells a dachshund owner very little. Showing products on the right breeds and sizes is what makes the image feel personal.

Animals are also the least predictable models there are. Shoots run on treats, patience and a handler, and the perfect frame can take an hour. Packaging adds its own job: ingredients, sizes and age guidance must read clearly.

What a pet product photo has to get right

  • On the pet

    Collars, harnesses, beds and coats need on-pet images, so owners can see the fit and judge "will this suit my dog?"

  • Breed and size range

    Small, medium and large dogs, long- and short-haired cats. A range of breeds helps more owners recognise their own pet.

  • Trustworthy packaging

    Ingredients on food, age guidance on toys and size charts on accessories close more sales than a pretty picture alone.

  • Everyday scenes

    Mealtime, walks, the park and the sofa: the product in the moment it's used makes it feel like part of the routine.

What a pet product shoot takes without AI

  1. Packshots

    Products are shot on white with packaging squared up and labels checked, product by product.

  2. Animal models

    On-pet shots book trained animals and handlers, usually in only a few breeds, and depend on how the animals behave on the day.

  3. Home and garden sets

    Kitchens, living rooms and gardens are built or rented, with props to make them feel lived in.

Pet product photos on pets that look like your customers' own

Do the breeds look accurate?
Yes. Common dog and cat breeds are shown with true proportions, coats and features, and each image is checked before delivery.
Can you show smaller pets too?
Yes. Rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and other small pets can be shown with products made for them.
