A clean product grid without a mannequin or a retoucher

  1. The problem

Ghost shots mean photographing every garment twice on a mannequin, then paying a retoucher to stitch the neck in.

    What we do

We work from the photos you already have and rebuild the inside of the collar for you.

  2. The problem

One shirt floats higher than the next, one shadow is harder, and the grid looks like three vendors shot it.

    What we do

We hold every SKU to one look, so the grid reads like a single shoot.

  3. The problem

Automatic mannequin removal gets most of the way, then our team fixes pinched waists and odd collars.

    What we do

We take the whole job, fiddly last part included, so your team never opens a retouching file.

What you get

A packshot set for every SKU

  • Front and back

Hollow-body shots of every garment, with the back of the collar visible through the neckline.

  • Detail crops

Fabric, print, buttons, zips and hem finishes, sharp up to 4K for zoom.

  • Packshots beyond garments

Bags, footwear, belts, scarves, caps and jewelry on a clean background with a natural contact shadow.

  • Your background

Pure white, light grey or your brand colour, kept in your brand kit.

  • One grid standard

Tops aligned at the shoulder and bottoms at the waistband, with the same margins, shadow and centre line.

  • Named by SKU and view

Every file in every channel size, ready to list.

Priced per product, on its own or added to an on-model shoot. See pricing

The shot, explained

What is a ghost mannequin photo?

A ghost mannequin (or invisible mannequin) photo shows a garment with the shape of a body but no body in it. The collar stands, the sleeves hang and you can see into the neckline.

Shoppers see fit and construction without a model's styling or pose in the way. That's why it's the standard grid shot for so many retailers.

What to send us

Send the photos you already have

  • Great

Mannequin or hanger photos, front and back, in even light with the garment buttoned and smoothed. If you shot it inside-out too, send that as well.

  • Fine

Flat-lays laid straight, or on-model photos from a past shoot. Send fit notes so a boxy tee doesn't come out slim.

  • We'll ask for more

When the back isn't shown anywhere, or the lining is part of the product story. We ask at intake, before we start.

Our work

Four ways in, one clean result

Mannequin, hanger, flat-lay and on-model photos in. Hollow-body shots on one standard out.

How it works

From your mannequin photo to a grid that lines up

0 /4 steps

  1. You brief us Send your photos, your SKU sheet and the channels each product goes to.
  2. We match your grid New SKUs sized and shadowed to sit beside your current packshots.
  3. We produce Mannequin, stand and hanger removed with AI, the interior rebuilt and retouched by hand.
  4. You receive Ready to list on every marketplace you sell on.

What we check

Garment shape that reads true on the grid

Shoppers notice the last few percent: a pinched waist, a hanger edge, a collar that's too wide. A person checks every image against your product before you see it.

  • Shape: shoulders, chest and hips true to the cut and size, with no inflated sleeves.
  • Neckline and interior: the inside collar, back neck and lining rebuilt cleanly, with no mannequin edges left.
  • Fabric: linen creases like linen and satin catches light like satin.
  • Colour and details: matched to your swatch, with buttons, prints and logos in the right place and size.

If a garment looks off or doesn't match, we redo it, with unlimited revisions. Read the Real-or-Redo Guarantee

FAQs

Ghost mannequin photos that keep the garment's true shape

Is ghost mannequin the same as invisible mannequin?
Yes. Ghost mannequin, invisible mannequin and hollow-body photography are three names for one shot: the garment keeps a body's shape with no body in it.
Do I need to shoot on a mannequin first?
No. We work from mannequin, hanger, flat-lay or on-model photos. A mannequin or hanger shot gives the most exact shape.
Will an XS top and an XL coat look the same size?
No. We keep proportions true to each garment's cut and keep scale consistent by product type, so the grid reads honestly.
Should I use ghost mannequin or on-model?
Most brands use both: ghost mannequin for a clean grid and wholesale line sheets, on-model where fit and drape sell the product. We shoot both from one set of photos.
Do you shoot sarees and lehengas as ghost mannequin?
Usually not. Heavily draped pieces sell better on a model or as a styled flat-lay, and we'll recommend the right shot for each one.
