Model swap
Model swap is the AI workflow of replacing the model in an existing product photo with a different model — different body type, ethnicity, age, or styling — while keeping the garment unchanged.
Model swap is a cost-saving workflow for brands that already have catalog imagery but want to refresh model representation without re-shooting the garments. Upload the original on-model photo, pick a new model identity, and the AI produces the same garment on the new person.
Common reasons to swap: refreshing for an inclusive campaign, testing different body types on the PDP, replacing departing brand ambassadors, or producing market-specific imagery (e.g. south-Asian models for an India launch).
The workflow preserves garment drape, colour, and styling while regenerating only the model. Output is catalog-grade and passes marketplace QA.
