On-model photography
On-model photography is product imagery shot on a real or AI-generated model wearing the garment, showing fit, drape, styling, and how the product looks in context.
On-model imagery is the highest-converting product photography because customers can see fit, drape, and styling. The trade-off is cost — booking a model, studio, stylist, and photographer for a day adds up fast.
AI on-model tools replace the studio booking with a software upload. The brand uploads a flat lay or mannequin shot, picks a model identity from a library (or trains a brand-exclusive one), and the AI generates photorealistic on-model imagery.
